i want like, a semi-loft bed. not quite as high as a regular loft bed, and with stairs ideally because i’m an adult and i don’t want to climb a ladder every night, but still with plenty of storage room underneath.
I’m just here to say that loft beds are the greatest until you get T1 diabetes and have critically low blood sugar at 3am
Having to climb down in the dark, barely conscious and shaky is rough
no trust me you never wanted on of those loft bed dealies anything good about them is a lie fed to you by marketing

i had one of those once and got rid of it so i could just sleep on the floor
they’re really not as cool as cool as they seem. when you’re tired as hell the Last thing you want to have to do is climb a ladder to get into bed.

Loft beds are dangerous if you’re at all inclined towards sleep-walking.
