And it’s been by her side the whole time, even when she told Livewire not to move. She never even made a verbal threat, just put on a tough act and stated her demands. Granted, those demands and her sympathy for Echo did her very little favors given who she was confronting. I don’t blame Livewire for reading between the lines and not waiting to be put at a disadvantage to make her move, but she did objectively make physical contact part of this encounter first.
If someone’s holding a gun to your head (which she pretty much did by standing behind her and threatening her to not move), they are the ones that instigated the violence, not their victim.
That kind of falls into the reading between the lines I mentioned seeing as how she was only “pretty much” doing it. You aren’t wrong in that the very act is one of violence, but I used “contact” and not “violence” for that reason. I feel like she didn’t make physical contact first because she didn’t want it to get physical- though she was very clearly prepared for it to come to that. I don’t wish to say she wasn’t in the wrong at all, cause she definitely is. I just like to pick at the rationale of characters who are pushed to extremes.
Personally I’m calling her “Spicy Mustard.” Though I’ve also seen Dijon, which I do like too. And it is really cool, albeit somewhat unsettling, to see her so serious.
girliepop you’re theone who put the gun to her head
i mean it was an umbrella

“I was just going to peacefully threaten and interrogate you in a dark alley, but now I guess I’m going to have to be the bad guy”
people are so sensitive these days.
I wonder how Mustard intends to fight without revealing her Routine
No smoke pies either, the corps knows when a pie glove gets used.
“Why do you have to make me hit you?”
“Was getting caught part of your plan?”
i get that this is the serious chapter, and im loving it, but i miss the alt text :’)
Well that’s a series wrap on Livewire. Thank you all for coming.
Absolutely adore the line work on that second panel
Be ironic if the “good” sister ends up harming her more than the bad one could.
Okey, you’ve managed to make Mustard genuinilly creepy.
It’s funny? I know it might be appropriate to cheer for Livewire here, considering all she’s gone through? Mustard isn’t sweating one bit.
Livewire: Got’cha!
Rogue Mustard: No… that’s my line.

Consider a black sauce to match her color scheme: Worcestershire.
Ooh, that’s fun. Hopefully she won’t end up as Worcestershire sister. (Feels like I Mustard up too much effort for that pun)
Honey Mustard, you quite literally started this
Can we start calling her Musty now. It’s short for Mustard.
Honey mustard is an actual product.
It sucks but that could be just me.
kinda hoping Mustard loses this fight with how cocky she’s being rn
As much as I dig the whole shadow the hedgehog thing Mustard’s got going on, she is biting off way more than she can chew rn
That 2nd panel’s work though… I can SEE it move… good stuff!!
Well she was warned.
