He’s smiling. I don’t think we’ve seen that before, outside that flashback with David.
Also I just noticed it but he’s grown a The Tick Jaw, same as Bout did in his last appearance. After *he* punched someone out through a wall. Hmmmmmmm….
Oh, she didn’t press it? Guess I have to retract my “Chekhov’s gun” comment from the previous page. But hey, I was right about the explosion attracting attention (page 132).
Sorry to double-post, but: looking back from this point, does anyone else feel like Echo/Maggie has a bit of a Gollum/Sméagol thing going on? Maybe not up to the level of a full split personality, but she seems to have “Maggie-ish” moments where her eyes look more like her sister’s, versus “Echo-ish” moments where we see her white irises. Page 158 is a good example, and so are pages 169 & 170 together.
Well, she WAS brainwashed by a cult into an evil mime. Her sanity is not up to scratch for certain. Whether we’re seeing her disassociate, or just being manipulative, isn’t certain.
All of these comments about how happy they are Morgan is being saved and how good it is that she’s changed enough for people to care about her getting shivved are missing the point.
We’ve got a whole month to anticipate HOW much Anasthesia is going to flip her lid at the two of them and the glorious snark that will come of it.
New theory: Mustard still won’t get to hear McBell’s answering machine message, because the answering machine itself will break or catch fire or something.
Or, my earlier suggestion of it being a long incoherent sobby mess. It’s all there, but no one who isn’t a currently sad drunk is going to get anything out of it.
Alternate prediction: We’ll get an offhand comment from mustard that her silverware is missing, showing that mcbell made good on her promise to rob her.

I love it. A big damn hero moment definitely calls for a big damn heroic chin.
Awwww!
Genetic chin growth triggered by defenestration
Defenestration is such a fun word
I apologize, the previous reply is on the wrong comment but I am unable to delete it. Mobile is weird.

He’s the one who already learned the “call for backup before even entering the building” lesson.

Thats what we in the buisness call “poor coping mechanisms as part of a trauma response”
(The buisness is being mentally ill, I’m not a psychologist)
Not to mention she was clinically dead at some point? It may just be that not everything returned.
I don’t think double posts have much meaning in this format.
You don’t gotta deserve nothin to be cared about, is the funny thing.

Happy Holidays from the Truesome Twosome
After all that I kind of felt bad for Echo. Trying to kill Morgan at the end of that fight almost looked like an impulse she couldn’t control.
Remembering how Echo said that nobody would care if Mustard got shivved and bled out…
Well, she now has at least two people who would care
Oh wow, I didn’t even think of that.
That twosome got true, and then some!
MY LONGEST YEA BOIIIIIIII EVER [32 MINS 15 SEC]
Okay, I thought this was going to be “she pushed the button off panel”
this is so much better

“Yes, I’m great at field medicine. That doesn’t change the fact that you should have gone TO A HOSPITAL!”
(Que end of Lethal Weapon 2)
Mamma, put my guns in the ground
I can’t shoot them, anymore

It ran out of space a LONG time ago. Clearly.
