Is it just me, or has the mayor seemed just a bit… off, the last few pages? Like, he’s kinda always been this stupid, but he’s usually a lot more bombastic about it. The last couple of pages he’s been positively mellow.
That is the only explanation I could come up with, but frankly, I am not so sure. He’s the man with a plan, with always a backup plan…
Maybe his plan is to get rid of two oligarchs who became a tad too powerful? In legitimate self defense, of course…
Just because he had a backup plan for his bodyguard doesn’t mean he’s some kinda chessmaster. Most of what we’ve seen from him, he’s not exactly competent, just a guy with political power.
sheer dumb luck saving a plan does not make it a good one. the quality of a plan is determined by the level of risk it mitigates with the resources available
he hired a student as his bodyguard to spite the kid’s father, being lucky enough that said kid is extremely competent doesn’t negate the fact that is was a horrendously bad plan

hey Joe, have you ever considered moving to Hiveworks? at minimum it would be better for advertising, and most of the authors I read are actively moving away from WordPress from what I can tell. don’t quote me on that.
