Okay I get it, it’s strategy, she let her throw her around so that she could set up a tactical opportunity like this, this sort of thing seems to be Echo’s weakness.
How many different routines’ constructs can Echo have out at once? AFAIK we’ve only seen her pull out one routine at a time; Oats might escape a hanging if she makes Echo have to use the umbrella.
Not that she’s safe afterwards. Pretty sure Oats will never be safe until the Echo problem is solved in some way.
Her hands and feet are free and Ringmaster has no significant strength to do anything in this situation- he placed all his confidence in Echo. If Oates can scale the building even a foot, enough tension would leave the rope to let her breathe, and she could work from there. Binge-reading, I think the execution was predictable, and Oates’s arc was a little rushed- was there any special significance to the name Margaret Lee I missed, besides being her sister? It seemed like a significant panel just for a dead stranger’s name. I get pacing feels a lot different when at its proper release schedule, though.I just started reading this series, and I love it so much!! (This is a terrible sandwich, but I wanted to make it clear this is an exceptional series- like a better Scoob! but without all the licensed character malarkey.)
GET HER ASS OATS
OATS. IS. GOATS.
Yeah I still don’t get the goat part.
GOAT=Greatest of All Time
Greatest Of All Time
Really gonna suggest you talk to more people. Different people. With different opinions. Been harsh on you, but it’ll do you a world of good.
Clown Corps? Clown Corpse!
oh my god
A mime is a wonderful thing to waste
YOOOOOOO OATS IS KILLIN’ IT
We can only hope
CALLED IT
Panels 1 and 4 have strong ‘how it started/how it’s going’ energy.
Okay I get it, it’s strategy, she let her throw her around so that she could set up a tactical opportunity like this, this sort of thing seems to be Echo’s weakness.
Aww, yes! The Phantom of the Opera school of ‘keep your hand at the level of your eyes!’
Bait and Switch!
We already know Echo can make balloon umbrella to fly away. Oats would do best to GTFO.
That’s Mustard’s Umbrella, not a balloon one.

I don’t care how much emotional yoyoing this has been this is wonderful.
Ringmaster: “Hey, everyone, look at this great basket! It’s gotta be the best basket ever.
From now on I’m gonna put all my eggs in it.”
Oats might lose, but she’s gonna make them pay for every inch
Figgered oats wasn’t just gonna roll over and die, mime’s learnin’ it from the heat of the iron!

Guess you gotta learn how to untangle yourself when your gimmick is ropes
Go Oats go!
