Well, sure, but he’s apparently dead. Probably.
Young Platt isn’t that bad, but I barely consider him one of the elites. He’s too sane in that self centered wealthy brat sort of way.
I actually hope to see more of Junior at some point, he’s funny in that specific way.
Maybe he’d be irritating, but the Mayor has WAY moved those goalposts. I’m not sure which I’d prefer, that he have the mother of all schemes going or that he’s literally just this dumb, both would be good.
Ah, so it was a “remotely controlled drone type thing” after all.
But how do his avatars act when he isn’t “checking in” on them? Do they have some degree of autonomy, or even sapience? Or was Niagara Falls Mathews just standing there like a mannequin until Flesh Mathews picked up the reins again?
Not gonna lie, a 3rd-person shooter starring Binky I could really see working. Make it something more akin to Devil May Cry or the various Spider Man open-world games, and you could probably involve the whole cast.
The more I think about it, the more I start to suspect she might go for something along the lines of “Oh no, that clown has kidnapped the mayor, if only someone could shoot him free!”
You do realize that murdering husbands or potential husbands is basically her hobby at this point, right?
Burke was her main target, but Matthews is a target-of-opportunity, and Dougherty is a target in the making, if she can just get close enough to him to get or give a marriage proposal.
At this point she’s *probably* going for the record of most husbands, exes, and potential suitors killed in one night.
If I didn’t have a friend who was like obsessed with Home Alone I think I would’ve looked at panel 4 with a normal amount of amusement.
However, I do, and so the kevin mcallister face has sent me to the stratosphere with laughter because I know exactly what it’s referencing. I have no choice but to send this page and thus the entire comic as context to said friend.
Juniper’s in it for the love of the game
I’m almost certain she’s in it for the money
Probably both, making a profitable career out of her murder hobby.
Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.
Bout is working so hard right now.
the burkepurke
the burkepurke
What does it say about the city elites that the sanest ones we’ve run into are the Chef of Police and the Black Widow?
I would say Platt senior still comes up ahead in the sanity department, even when counting his alliance with the evil clown cult.
Well, sure, but he’s apparently dead. Probably.

You mean the man who’s spent the lion’s share of the night in the vents and the actual confirmed psychopath?
Yes. Yes I do.
Juniper always gets her kill
Let’s be reasonable here. She got a kill, but Matthews was never Juniper’s target.
She saw a man in need and decided to lend a hand
Ah, so it was a “remotely controlled drone type thing” after all.
But how do his avatars act when he isn’t “checking in” on them? Do they have some degree of autonomy, or even sapience? Or was Niagara Falls Mathews just standing there like a mannequin until Flesh Mathews picked up the reins again?
They were a drone like thing AND they had a really simple and exploitable weakness. We were both right!
The tech guy get’s felled by water.
That son of a gun loses to rain + 80% of the planet.
Ah, so Matthews wasn’t actually touched by a woman when Juniper flirted with him earlier. It was but a decoy Matthews, virginity restored!

They offered him a poncho and he said no
I’m pretty sure I saw a burkepurke at Ikea once.
That last pannel made me realise just how much i would want a clown corps fighting game..
Just imagine. If it stayed true to the energy of the comic, it’d be a 3rd person shooter and a spaghetti western playing out at the same time.
Not gonna lie, a 3rd-person shooter starring Binky I could really see working. Make it something more akin to Devil May Cry or the various Spider Man open-world games, and you could probably involve the whole cast.
Why did Juniper help kill Matthews though? She wants Mayor Burke dead. Does she just not want to get caught being a bad guy in front of the police?
Well, if Doughy isn’t shooting at Matthews, maybe he’ll shoot at someone else. I believe shooting at people is something he enjoys.
The more I think about it, the more I start to suspect she might go for something along the lines of “Oh no, that clown has kidnapped the mayor, if only someone could shoot him free!”

Was she also married to Mathews?
Can’t help but mentally edit the alt text so it reads to the tune of Rehab by Amy Winehouse (RIP)
THEY TRIED TO OFFER HIM A PONCHO BUT HE SAID NOOOO, NO, NO
So the tech-wizard turns out to have a tech-witches vulnerability. “You cursed brat, look what you’ve done! I’m melting…”!

I say this with love and joy in my heart, this is soooo stupid. The way he mugs the « camera » is hilarious. The gags in this chapter are great
the burkepurke
Alas, I now have to wait for new pages like everyone else. Sobbing comically large tears.
