I’ll be honest, this page baffled me. When the spinning started, I thought the point would be to deflect the bombs, but then it looked like it was sucking the bombs in, but in the end it…charged up her rockets? What?
My current best guess is that the umbrella is acting as a propeller (somehow), and flipping it back from inside-out to normal changed the thrust direction from downwards to upwards. But I’m not 100% sure, and I had to think about it for several minutes before I even got to that point.
Part of me is tempted to say that “vacuum slipstream” makes more sense than my “propeller” theory. Another part suspects that it makes exactly the same amount of sense, but my brain is more willing to accept it because of the sci-fi vibes. Either way, I’m on board.
prediction: Echo hasn’t prepared for this because Mustard hadn’t shown anyone, including the people recording the routines at Clown HQ, that she could do this
my thought was that she was pulling a McBell (pulling nonsense out her a** but doing it so confidently it works)
