You ever notice how sometimes I won't write out sound effects at all, leaving them to be inferred, and other times it'll be like Adam West Batman got drunk at a wedding? Yeah idk what's up with that

Man, that kid’s gonna be an easy mark for Maggie in a chapter or two.

Abuse of power, that’s what’s happening.

A power play against the Clowns, I think.

A good question with no good answers, little girl.

They didn’t. The bodyguards were for the Mayor and Platt Jr. And later Dot, who wears dots.

And even they didn’t need anything. It’s not like they even had any before the mayor took control of the corps.

To prevent commoners from speaking to them

All the strength in the world isn’t worth a cent if you’re too distracted by petty squabbles to notice the angry prole with a gun.

They wouldn’t phrase it like that. They’d say something about how they’re too busy with business concerns and…whatever Mr. Magoon does…to pay attention to all the scum around them. But that’s the idea. The bodyguards are there to notice things.

So Bout can see why his dad doesn’t want to be in the clown corps anymore, and how the group has fundamentally changed over the years.

Kid, I’m asking myself the same question.

The battle of the century, that’s what! Or the battle of the next century, if we are still in the 90’s. It’s really unclear.

Agents getting punished for doing their job! I never thought ClownCorps to be a political comic! (Ok, there were hints, tbh…)

thats right, dot, the rich are the real clowns you should be afraid of

I wonder if this is going to end with Dot replacing her fear of clowns with fear of rich people because Bout protected her, both helping her overcome her fear and giving Bout a W that helps him get in touch with what being a clown is supposed to be about.

    What’s happening?

Two “terrorists” are about to get arrested for “robbing the auction”, thus creating a fantastic diversion for the actual thieves to get away?

    Maybe?

Never! In Pinfall, the rich seem to be untouchable. It’s probably going to be the other way around: McBell will be held responsible not only for the heist but every collateral damage…
