So in other words, Silver Tongue doesn’t mean Silver brain. So is this it? They’re gonna arrest him and dismantle everything? Or is there a man behind him pulling the string?
Gus is the mastermind here, he should have realized that he’d still be at a massive disadvantage since he doesn’t have the skills to go along with the mutations that he just gave himself.
I’m still having a sneaking suspicion this is some kind of set-up or at least Gus is not showing all his cards even at a moment like this. That old fighting anime trope of the fight seems to be going well for the good guy and then the bad guy is all “By the way, I’ve only been fighting you at 20% of my power’s potential. Let’s take it up to 40% shall we?!”
For those of you who wanna skip the Flashback backstory and go back to the fight (or atleast go to the second to last part and get to one part of the fight) click here.
Skipping the backstory? Cringe. If I wanted to turn my brain off to go ‘Unga Bunyan and clap at action scenes I would have read a shounen manga, not this masterpiece.
Having the power doesn’t mean having the experience, the knowledge, the instincts.
He threw a punch. Oh no. Gus is gonna be laid OUT. Those fists are classified as lethal weapons.
+4 to STR but still +0 to hit

It’s not that Gus isn’t smart, jury’s still out on that one. Gus just doesn’t know how to fight.

Poor Mustard. Binky didn’t even lose his cool and need to recenter to realize that.
