I know, I’m hoping for a love triangle between McBell, Fuchsia, and Oats. That’s my ship and it’s staying at port until it sails out or sinks. My theory is the second mole is a background character.
You got my interest now what happens next, the Director sounds like a wrong person to put into traitor skin in the first place, but it looks so natural here idk really.
Btw. You tried to contact the Image Comics or other publisher to publishing Clown Corps? I bought (I’m from Poland) the Kill Six Billions Demons from IC, and I’m wondering if some indie company will be also interest in publishing your comic, you have great action scenes, main characters, and narration of plot, this is a good 4/5 in my scale.
I don’t think it would make sense at all for the director to be a traitor. Why would Ringmaster bother killing off Oats when he could just as easily feed her bad information, and then have the director use it as justification to make the corps do whatever he wants? Or if you’re going to kill her, why now, when you’ve known through the director for months that she’s betrayed you?
also it’d just feel kinda cheap and I want Oats to live.
is this the first time the director’s legs appear in the comic? Considering the earlier alt text joke about her not having any im suprised there’s no confirmation of that in the alt text here
And then Director Snowqueen is in on it and she fucking kills Oats in a rare and unbelievably dangerous quintuple twist
My thought exactly
Yyyup.
I dunno about the rest of y’all but *I* was joking.
Ringmaster referenced McBell inspiring Oats. There’s very few people who would know that.
Anesthesia, Binky, Snowqueen, and… Angel.
Yep, that’s what’s gonna happen, oats never gets a rest.
That was my thought, honestly.
Oats looks so cute! I love her natural hair color! Poor girl, I’m glad she survived!
The Long Sip of Contemplation
Well, there goes the detective being Oats twist.
It was a dumb idea for a twist anyways.
cause no one’s saying it, DRIP
I really hope queen doesn’t kill her. I want to see if there’s a relationship with Macbeth later

I got to say the director is handling what the bloody cuss just happened a lot better than we thought….
Seeing Oats safe is the best Birthday gift

DIRECTOR BETTER NOT BE A TRAITOR
The Director’s demeanor in the last two panels is more;
“Holy {Fuggin Feces}, the {fecal mass} just got real!” and
“What. The. {Fuggin}. {Doubled Hockey Sticks}.”
More than it is:
“Now how the {unholy hockey} am I supposed to dispose of her without anyone here finding out!?”
That stare at the end is the director GPS’ing it up in her mind where the nearest body dump location is, or the farthest depending on her disposition.
Hm.
It’s good to see the girl alive, even if she’s apparently prone to getting whacked anyways in the next few pages.

So the traitor is the clown with the cat, and thats how he learned the info to leak it to the Shadow Circus, right?

Good to know oats is adorable in or out of costume
Oats is so cute! She’s just a little baby girl!
