Anesthesia (the nurse) said the lower half of his face was obliterated so it seems like she did more than just rip out his tongue, but based on the last panel we saw her in she probably started with that.
So, she both left him and physically assaulted him, that’s a big twist that I really didn’t see coming, nor did I expect the masked goons to apparently get away. I also never noticed that Ana here wore eyeshadow, with the eyebrows she looks supper weird in panel 3.
I wonder if echo injected herself with ringmaster’s blood. Doesn’t seem like it’d help her except if she wanted to talk to someone in the super short term. Maybe she’ll show up at mcbell’s window?
So we’re down to Echo and a few leaderless mooks as antagonists… I wonder if there’s going to be a reveal of another big bad or what… Echo is dangerous but she has at least two counters in McBell and now Mustard
I like how Clown Corps members are casually professional agents of law enforcement for the most part, but intermittently they just… slip into being clowns. A consistent dichotomy of their nature.
Well, for starters it doesn’t work for very long. For another, maybe she already did. Echo gets shadow clown tools teleported to her all the time. Maybe the blood gun is in the database now.
… wait, shouldn’t that be “the brainwasher outlasted the brainwashing?” Echo snapped out of his control and went sickhouse on him meant that his BRAINWASHING wore off.
Seems less like Gus’s underling cut him loose and more that he was never quite as in charge as he thought he was.
Eyyy, I just caught up and lo and behold it’s a new update! I’m so happy.
Wonder what they’re gonna do with that injector. Seems a bit dangerous to just leave around, even in “good” hands.
We saw Echo grab his tongue. So did… she rip it out, hence the blood loss?
The nurse did say that he could write a confession. Not just give one, write! 0_0

wondering if it was a revenge thing–echo is mute herself, but might not have always been that way…
I think the ringmaster sewed her lips in order to prevent her from ever copying his brainwashing routine. She did not like that. Not. One. Bit.

I meant panel 5.

But did he get the boombox 0.0
That’s a surprise tool which will help us later
. . . Whos that clown in panel 2?
And where did they come from?
What, you mean generic clown #3?
He’s just part of the calvalry. He showed to help take in strongman too, on ch4p59, and he’s been around since ch1p3.
Hey, the operative term in that last panel is “ALMOSt”.

Don’t forget the captain, the marksman mook with the tear on his mask.

Say, why didn’t Echo take that gun for herself?
