‘Discrete’ traditionally means ‘sectioned off’, although the spelling is often used, in the modern day, as an alternate spelling of ‘discreet’ – which traditionally means ‘unobtrusive’, and sometimes (since understatement is so characteristic of secrecy), ‘secret’.
Nix means to stop or remove, so she was saying stop being sassy. Sass isn’t bad language, but she didn’t say sass she said ass-say. ASS-say. A cheap joke to be sure, but I believe that is what they were going for.
A good friend of mine showed me this ages ago and I simultaneously regret and do NOT regret showing up to go through this. I LOVE Clown Corps. This entire story knocked out a Friday night at work and I am satisfied beyond belief.
It’d be hilarious if, once they get Echo into custody, she just spills everything. Turns out, the only reason she didn’t talk was because her mask didn’t have a mouth. The second that sucker comes off? She. Will. Not. Shut. Up. Cannot keep a secret to save her life! The whole mime schtick was just a cover for the fact they have to gag her if they wanna use her insane skills without spilling ALLLLLL their secrets.
