Yeah but as we’ve learned from oats, the line that ringmaster uses to convince people is a sort of conspiracy about the corps taking over the city. Echo might still believe in some conspiracy, or that some organization should be taken down even if it’s not the corps. She didn’t get in for selfish reasons (presumably), so she’s probably not staying in for selfish reasons either.

I kind of assumed that her previous motivation was that Ringmaster charmed her into working for him and getting her lips sewn up. But there may have been some voluntary element, I dunno.

While we assume Ringmaster and Strongman have left a trail of bodies in their wake, the Captain is the only character who we KNOW has actually killed someone.

She previously had her mouth sewn up, you don’t do that for funsies. Just because she’s a silly heckler doesn’t mean she’s not here for ideological reasons.
