Recently, a party in a local election pasted up a bunch of fake instruction signs that would make the ballots uncountable because they knew they had to minimise voter turnout to win. There are no shortage of deeply scummy things a politician can use to gain office against the will of the people.
… is it just me, or does Pigtails have her cannon aimed right at the mayor in the first panel? Sadly, I’m fairly sure that’s an indication that she has not gone through confetti cannon safety classes, since if she actually intended to shoot him, it would have already happened.
Not that I don’t understand Bout’s feelings. Binky really needs to work on the way he words things because of course his son was going to get upset with the way he phrased things. But hopefully this does opens Bout’s eyes on why taking this opportunity was a bad decision.
Most of all though, I hope those two can reconcile after this. Before, Binky and Bout seemed to have a good relationship. I really don’t want to see it get worse just because they’re unable to communicate properly with one another.
