So, are there non-clowns in other cities with access to Acts or similar superpowers, or does no one outside of Pinfall believe their clowns can actually do that?
Chapter 5 page 86 talks about a Power Rangers-esque team in a neighboring city called the “Throne City Angels”. They were the targets of Gus Gilborn before he went after the Clown Corps, but, yeah, from the very little shown, they seem to have been superheroes on the level of the Clowns. And mutants seem to just be a thing in this world; super-strength, PJs dream powers, etc. I think the implication is that Acts and the like are not common but not unusual.
Remember the Throne City Angels from chapter 5? Because most people in this story sure don’t, and somebody behind the scenes is trying to make sure the same happens to the Clown Corps before it becomes well-known outside of the city limits.
Some outside force is trying to suppress gimmicky groups with strange powers, and I still don’t buy that Gus Gilborn/Ringmaster was the true mastermind behind all of that.
We know that in another city there was a Power Rangers deal before Gus decided to screw with it. Superpowers seem to regularly exist, Pinfall is just clown-themed.
McBell is currently taking the slowest escalator in existence
The purpose of the down escalator is to make people fall slower than gravity. It’s working?
Slower than gravitas, at least. This seems to be building up a narrative frame for something about to happen with McBell.
hM, I’M Exactly thinking the same! But what could it be…?
The fact that clown crime fighting is only the status quo in one particular city is insane
There’s… something unsettling about watching the firefighters become the cops. ~Binky, ch2 p44
Hihi, at first glance I read “Binky, ch2 verse44” and imagined some sort of scripture…
Kinda fits, doesn’t it?
“Guess my mind was somewhere else that week”
Yes, in the hospital with her body. Binky said that to Mustard.
Binky probably has expressed similar sentiments off screen.

I LOVE the little picnic :o)
Dear Bout,
How do you football with boxing gloves on?
Sincerely,
Bungus, FCUSA
Pretty sure he punched the football away.
Not sure how he got it into a position to punch it though.
Completely missed that little detail myself.
I won’t lie, I was kinda bracing myself for Ragdoll’s explanation as fact.
Also, yes! Clowns make people smile! This comic makes people smile! More of that, please! <3
Always fun to see Bout punch the football.
wow, just binge read this all in one day to say: this is really, really good. Time to tell my friends about it until they tell me to shut up
