Great character writing, and the fact that it’s all going down out of kayfabe with no clown gimmicks makes it feel so much more personal. David looks so hurt in panel five.
Okay, giving him a chance to punch him in the face immediately after belittling him may actually be therapeutic. It’s almost as if this was the whole plan to test whether he is in fact ready. There may be hope for Binky yet as a dad.
Yeesh, we’re gonna get pretty emotionally charged, I reckon. James has a point for sure, but this is NOT the way to make it, especially to his own son. I’m at least glad they’re the only ones who are having family troubles right now and that no other characters we’ve grown attached to have to go through such hardship.
Speaking of no family troubles at all, I wonder what Mustard’s gonna get up to after leaving the mall…
C’mon, Bout. It’ll be a friendly sparring match between clowns. Well, one clown and one ex-clown. And it’s possible that the agent formerly known as Binky has a rhetorical point he’s jabbing at..

That’s a nice thought, but definitely not. Binky won’t go all out, but he’s playing for keeps. I suspect he will humiliate his son to assert dominance
