For some reason on this re-read; in my head I’m hearing Binky’s lines with the voice of DCAU John Steward/Green Lantern, and Bout’s lines with the voice of DCAU Virgil Hawkins/Static Shock.
I think it fits with this scene at least.

The absolute truth, directly stated, is not always going to get the right results. Especially when paired with a command. Though I suspect Binky isn’t the type to learn that lesson quickly.

Ooof. Billy is factually correct in what he is saying but MAN he needs to learn how to communicate constructively. He ended up basically explaining nothing and insulting David :( Way to ensure your kid doubles down instead of heeding the warning. David doesn't even properly know why Billy quit by the end. I'm sure it's fine and they'll sort it out on the next page (Art-note: I love how expressive David's face and body is across all these panels! Great use of visual character acting. Very realistic writing of a bad miscommunication to - those can be surprisingly hard to do well and this one makes perfect sense in character!)
