Burke’s missed the real purpose of Jester’s Privilege.

It allows a jester to mock their ruler when their ruler is at more risk of being a fool than they are.

So…what do we think Burke means when he says he doesn’t have to wipe the slate clean?

My theory that he’s going to try to round up what’s left of the Shadow Circus and convince them to work for him directly. He’ll then frame the Corps for something horrible and bring in the rebranded Circus to take them down.

I can’t imagine Echo would be on board with all that, but I think the Captain would hear him out.
