Isn’t McBell kinda at crossroads somehow: Get together with her old crew, fighting the corrupt system as earlier or stick to the Corps and her new friends, defending the status quo. Whatever, her decision will probably be rooted in her backstory, so now this is crucial knowledge and long overdue.
(And a mean trick to keep up the suspense, of course! Can Morgan survive long enough for Binky to come to the rescue? OTOH a confetti cannon is not a lethal weapon, so there might be no need for rescueing…)
