You do realize that there’s a difference between the two sides by this point, don’t you? Yeah, progressives are often a pain in the ass and their more performative crap is annoying. But at the end of the day, all they want to do is try to make the world a better and maybe slightly less unequal place so that we spend less time tearing each other apart, and the PC stuff is inevitably just background noise. But put the Trumpists in charge, suddenly you’ve got Medicaid getting slashed and the President trying to make DC his own private fiefdom and our slow but steady continued descent into authoritarian fascism, piece by piece. You get Pinfall. And personally speaking, I’d rather be irritated than put up with shit that’s going to get people hurt and probably killed, just so the rich get to be a little richer.
