It seems like it, but that would also implicate Anesthesia, unless they *actually* installed cyanide implants, but never used them.

In real life, people often don’t lawyer up because cops will do *anything* in their power to convince you not to, including suggesting you’re incriminating yourself by doing it. (Cops are scum, if you haven’t heard) In fiction? Tends to be more dramatic without them.

I think it goes further than that. Soon as the mole theory was mentioned, I figured the smart way to do it would be to get one person who helps service the clown cars to install a wiretap in every car.
I think Binky’s just figured out that the whole Shadow Circus is some kind of megacorporate ploy to monetize the Clown Corps, and superhero/supervillain fights in general.
I think McBell is going to be Heist Clown by the end. Classic prison stripes and everything.

1) this guy’s been in 3 major encounters, suggesting the dark circus is not staffed to the point of expendability as implied.

2) Unless they didn’t check at all, let’s assume the “cyanide” was at least a knock-out drug of sorts. Make them seem dead long enough to leave them for clean up. Timing of that needs to be looked into b/c SOMEbody should have reported bodies missing at the scene or the morgue.

3) Oats has been outed; Binky could cut that cord quickly or play it cool and control her information. Maybe turn the watcher into the watched.

Better now than some dumb someone accuses her as a mole, but no one believes them until the last minute plot
