I think the alt text citations are definitive, since they’re in the author’s voice – and especially since one of them (Chapter 3, page 27) has McBell referred to as “she” and Ragdoll referred to as “they” in the SAME ALT TEXT.

Ragdoll is they/them.

Regardless, doesn’t matter. They’re nonbinary, that’s all that should really matter to us.
