This is a really good way to continue the story’s “distrust” motif now that Fuschia and McBell’s arc is resolved. Aside from how damaging his rejections could be to a former cultist, she just expressed there is at least one other mole in their ranks. Seeing she’s not associated with Binky might be a clue to said mole(s) to batten down the hatches. Put your feelings aside and STOP BEING A PUTZ BINKY.
