One thing I appreciate about the way Ringmaster's been written is that, from what little we've seen, I can legitimately see him being convincing. See how easily he slips into the paternal/father figure role here. I'll say this much for him -- he's not relying on his silver tongue or Routine or whatever you want to call it as a crutch. He is actually good at playing the role of a leader. So much for that, though! Pull away, Echo!

It’s both incredibly baffling and completely expected that he’d expect the girl whose life he stole and mouth he presumably sewed shut to *help* him after finally seeing him in a moment of helplessness. He just cannot conceive of anything not going his way or anyone looking down on him. That’s the way it often is with bullies, and people born into wealth.

For me, it was the “I’m sure you’ve always thought of me…” bit. Taking for granted that others think you’re great is dangerous, especially when working with people as dangerous as Echo.

It occurs to me that i like binky’s lack of eyes better than those ungodly humongous eyeballs mustard’s undead sister got.
Then again she might be actually perfectly alive and just caffeinated so badly her eyelids kind of tucked away behind her eyeballs by now.
