So this is as far as I've read, I'll be continuing it some more today, but I wanted to post my current theory for the story.
I theorize this comic takes place in a Corporate American Dystopia (not far from now) where a corporate store chain with a clown mascot became so powerful that it instated itself as an official branch of the U.S. Government. After this they staged a Coup and dismantled the FBI, replacing them with the Clown Corp justice program. Platt (the owner of the casino at the beginning) is one of or the CEO(s) of the "Big Corpo" branch of the Government, which means he's probably also a part of the gov (senator or something). The terrorist guy wearing the clown mask is a member of an anti-corporate extremist group that thinks all clowns are bad.
I don't have a lot of evidence for this theory, but my main bit of evidence is the name "Clown Corps" as a double meaning. Corps, both as a military body and as a Corporation, as well as the obvious references to McDonalds and the social commentary about the police force being clowns.
Anyways, cool stuff so far! I'm excited to see where this goes.
