I have a crazy theory and this post’s as good as any to say it.
The Cat is the spy, right? He sneaks into the bosses office while they’re talking about stuff. His owner is telling him about people.
It’s the Cat! The Cat’s behind it!!
Oh I think I’ll put my penny down on Gog-Agog. It’s an outside bet to be sure, but never underestimate the value of a good crossover plot in the climax.
Besides, Gog-Agog is just a very safe investment overall. Both Gog *and* Agog index funds offer very good rates of return on Gog-Agog.
What is going on? Why is the fight of the tycoons in flashblack n’ white? How come Maggie knows that McBell is the main character and why is she so keen on kiling her? If she IS aware of storytelling, she will know that the main character wins in the end- is she planning suicide by cop sorry, clown?
Thanks! I was confused by Maggie’s flashback, but obviously she was still a child when she was bickering with Morgan, while Morgan’s perception of the scene was that of a young adult and thus in color…
So, I have an epileptic tree theory on Angel the Cat. He might actually be able to have that showdown.
Remember the Throne City Angels? They seem to be Sentai inspired, and I know from playing Chroma Squad that animal characters in Sentai actually turn into whole entire costumed dudes a lot. Angel’s name could be a coincidence, but he could also be an ex-Throne City Angel in hiding.
Maybe Bout would be better at restraining fleeing children if he wasn’t wearing boxing gloves. Those child-grabbing classes are worthless if you can’t grab anything!
clearly it was a good thing echo was forced to be silent during the mcbell fight because i fear the combined power of them both talkative in the same room is going to break the comic
Maggie, you’re being that exact sort of villain I hope gets slapped around by someone else and discovers that just because you call yourself ‘the villain’ doesn’t mean the world dances to your tune.
Yay page 128
Re:Alt Text: Unnamed goth clown for the surprise win!
I love that both Mcbell and Echo have the 4th wall powers and Echo intends to use it exclusively to make a nuisance of herself
LOVE that oats was seemingly reporting back on angel the cat to the boss. what was he planning on doing with this information

For the record, I’m also sure that the cat was the real spy!

KSBD Reference in the wild?!

It’s black and white cause it’s dots perspective and she’s really scared. We had black and white two pages ago when she hid behind Bout, too.

I think it’s Dot’s origin story, and why she does whatever it is she ends up being in the far future of, what 1999?

Missed opportunity to call it the ‘Show-Clown’. It wouldn’t have worked, but you could have done it!
I honestly thought that first panel DID read “Show-Clown,” and had to re-read it to make sure it didn’t.
lowercase d can be misread as cl, turning panel one into “showclown”. Big implications vis-a-vis the final fight of the comic.

Maggie, this fourth wall breaking is getting excessive. Stick to tastefully addressing the audience once or twice like McBell.

I thought that Echo was Mcbell’s evil twin.
